TORAY yarn, Japan
Nylon offers excellent tensile strength, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, as well as good colour properties. In industry it is used for tyre cords, carpets and — most importantly for us — fishing nets. Toray has the largest share of the nylon market in Japan.
J.P. Fernando & Sons is the sole agent and single distributor of TORAY products in Sri Lanka, and TORAY Japan yarn goes into every one of our own net brands.
Kuralon twine
We also supply Kuralon twine, a strong vinylon twine for net-making, mending and general fishing work.
